بمناسبة الذكرى الـ80 ليوم النصر، شدد سعادة السفير الروسي في البحرين د. أليكسي سكوسوريف على أهمية هذا الحدث التاريخي، مؤكدًا أن بطولة الشعوب السوفييتية أنقذت العالم من الطغيان، وأسست لمبادئ القانون الدولي الحديث. وأعرب عن قلقه إزاء محاولات إعادة كتابة التاريخ وتمجيد النازية في بعض الدول.
فيما يخص العلاقات الروسية البحرينية، وصفها السفير بالإيجابية والمتينة، مبنية على الاحترام المتبادل والتفاهم العميق، مشيرًا إلى تقارب المواقف السياسية وازدهار التعاون الثنائي على كافة المستويات. أبرز اللقاءات تمثلت في زيارة جلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة إلى موسكو عام 2024، والتي أسفرت عن توقيع اتفاقيات في مجالات الثقافة، الصحة، التعليم والنقل.
كما نوه السفير بازدياد التبادل الوفدي بين البلدين، مؤكدًا الاستعداد المشترك للاحتفال بالذكرى الـ35 للعلاقات الدبلوماسية، والتطلع إلى توسيع آفاق التعاون الثقافي والإنساني

Община русскоговорящих «Соотечественники» провела празднование Дня Победы в Бахрейне
16 мая в Королевстве Бахрейн состоялось торжественное мероприятие, посвящённое 80-летию Победы в Великой Отечественной войне. Организаторами выступили Община русскоговорящих «Соотечественники» и Общество бахрейнско-российской дружбы при поддержке Посольства России в Манаме.
К гостям, среди которых были представители росдиаспоры, дипкорпуса и СМИ, с приветственным словом обратился Посол России в Бахрейне А.В.Скосырев. В своём выступлении он подчеркнул важность сохранения исторической памяти о Великой Победе как основы международной безопасности в современном мире.
Программа включала в себя концерт с военно-патриотическими выступлениями, а также акцию «Бессмертный полк», в рамках которой участники собрали портреты своих родных — ветеранов войны.
Вниманию гостей были представлены тематические выставки:
🔹 «Летописцы Победы. Спираль истории» — чёрно-белая фотохроника, объединяющая кадры времён Великой Отечественной и событий СВО;
🔹 «Освобождение Европы» — документальная экспозиция о решающем вкладе Красной Армии в Победу над нацизмом;
🔹 «Лица Победы» — серия портретов героев Великой Отечественной кисти художницы Александры Новик-Хамис.
Мероприятие стало живым напоминанием о подвиге советского народа и подчеркнуло неразрывную связь поколений как основы национального самосознания и единства соотечественников за рубежом.

Russian-speaking Community "Compatriots" Held Victory Day Celebration in Bahrain
On May 16, solemn event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It was organized by the Russian-speaking community "Compatriots" and the Bahraini-Russian Friendship Society with the support of the Russian Embassy in Manama.
The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Dr.Alexey Skosyrev, addressed the guests — including the representatives of the Russian diaspora, diplomatic corps, and media — with a welcome speech. He emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory of the Great Victory as the foundation for the international security.
The program of the event included the concert and the “Immortal Regiment” march, where Russian compatriots carried portraits of the war veterans.
Guests were also invited to explore the following exhibitions:
🔹 "Chroniclers of History: The Spiral of Time Through the Cameralenses" — a black-and-white photo chronicle linking the Great Patriotic War and the current events of the Special Military Operation;
🔹 “Liberation of Europe” — the exhibition highlighting the decisive role of the Red Army in the victory over Nazism;
🔹 “Faces of the Victory” — the portrait series of the Great Patriotic War heroes by artist Alexandra Novik-Khamis.
The event served as a vivid reminder of the Soviet people's heroic legacy and underscored the unbreakable bond between generations as a cornerstone of national identity and unity among compatriots abroad.

Invitations to participate in this forum have been extended to more than 150 states of the Global South and East, the #CIS, #CSTO, #EAEU, and #SCO countries, as well as to the leaders of more than 20 international organisations.
The agenda of the 13th forum focuses on international security cooperation.
ℹ️ The Security Council of the Russian Federation has been holding the annual international meetings of high representatives in charge of security issues since 2010. It is an important international platform for exchange of views on all global security-related issues and mechanisms to strengthen cooperation between partner countries to combat international terrorism, extremism, transnational crime, drug trafficking, as well as new challenges and threats.
