Before you read, please bear in mind, this is neither the best, nor an exhaustive list of books to be used for prelims. This is just what I used. I have tried to be as honest as I could be while enumerating each source that I had used. Still I'll update it later, if something else crosses my mind.
Again use your own discretion to decide what you want to follow.
