Biden tanks approval with Democrats over Israel support – poll

The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll reveals deep divisions among Democrats regarding President Biden's handling of the Gaza conflict and related campus protests.

Approximately 44% of Democratic voters disapprove of Biden's response, which could impact his electoral prospects, given the tight rematch with Trump.

Despite criticism, Biden has continued arms shipments to Israel, drawing heavy criticism from within his own party. This unrest has provided fodder for Trump's campaign, who is capitalizing on disaffected voters' dissatisfaction with Biden's performance.
