This episode is a composed collection of recordings spanning 2018 through 2025 from her solo live performances and collaborative installations with other artists including Muyao Zhang and Queens (Scott Mou).

An archival recording of a live performance from several years ago at the Berlin's Kwia. The set includes previously unreleased fragments from Igor’s ongoing sonic practice. It conjures ghostly sonic environments that, in a sense, mirror observation - evoking a fluid state of perception, traces of both internal and external reflection. Ambient with a pulse: immersive, flickering, and dissolving.

Quelli che frequentano la roccia
(Rocks wanderers, and those who live the stones)

Entangled currents and scattered traces, crumbs upon the stones. A shifting landscape: our shelter, our mirage. An echo of something real, yet never fully so — and it vanishes the moment you reach for it.

Mixed by Herbalife and B forever.

1. Brevity is elegant.
2. The contemporary age has a short attention span. We need to adapt our minds to briefness.

whybc is a faint reflection of Yassine Ben Cheikh, a name distilled into initials, then reimagined as a question and its echo: why, because. This spirit of inquiry shapes every mix.

For whybc, sound is less a tool than a companion, something to live with, observe, and move through slowly. It becomes a way of listening inward, of holding space for ambiguity, of translating what resists explanation. From this quiet attention emerges a practice of selecting and assembling music that speaks without speaking, where tension gives way to release, and sound becomes a vessel for things half-remembered, half-felt, and never fully understood.

Each selection is a kind of question. Each transition, a suggestion.

Welcome to the first episode of A Ghost in the Deckshell ~ Until The Lands of Gold.

A wandering through memory’s dust,
To unearth both the seeds and the gems of the self.

drummykutz produces music by coding sounds using the Sonic Pi software. Deeply involved in the emerging field of energy medicine known as sound therapy, she creates Sonic Cyber Tales — sometimes in the form of coded, meditative sound journeys, and other times as percussive sets, charged with playful mysticism and vibrant energy, designed to transport you through rhythms.

A Ghost in the Deckshell is a sonic trip series envisioned as a medium for drawing sonic landscapes. It blends the intriguing textures of live coding with a more grounded and meditative approach.
