Этой весной из зоопарка Коркеасаари в свой новый дом — Nordens Ark — приехал хорошо известный многим из вас молодой финский красавец Катти-Матти! (1-ое фото).
Сейчас Катти-Матти живёт вне экспозиции.
🔆 А теперь — к именам!
Знакомьтесь:
💚 Со второго фото грозно смотрит на мир её манулейшество Герцогиня (Duchess, в переводе с англ. «Герцогиня»).
🧡 А на третьем — красавица Тулуз (Toulouse).
Оба имени — персонажи диснеевского мультфильма «Коты-Аристократы» (1970).
Так они продолжают традицию своего великолепного папы-манула Томаса О'Мэлли, который тоже был назван в честь героя этого мультика 🙌🏻

⚡️ News from Nordens Ark: the fluffy daughters of Loesje and Thomas now have names and a fiance!
🔆 Let’s start with the fiance!
This spring, a young Finnish heartthrob named Qatti-Matti — well known to many of you — arrived from Korkeasaari Zoo to his new home at Nordens Ark! (1st photo).
For now, Qatti-Matti is living off-exhibit.
🔆 And now — the names!
Meet them:
💚 In the second photo, you’ll see the grumpy gaze of manuless Duchess.
🧡 And in the third— the beautiful Toulouse.
Both names come from characters in Disney’s The Aristocats (1970).
In this way, they carry on the tradition of their magnificent manul father Thomas O'Malley, who was also named after a character from the same film 🙌🏻

Ему было 11 лет.
Трудно подобрать слова, чтобы описать, какая это большая потеря для мануломанов всего мира 🙏
Бору был одним из самых узнаваемых и знаменитых манулов в мире – настоящей легендой, символом и пушистым столпом мировой манулизации.
Дорогой Самурай, прощай!
Нам будет очень не хватать твоего неповторимого сурового изумрудного взгляда исподлобья.
Передавай привет любимой Полли! 🙏
Ты навсегда останешься в наших сердцах, манул-легенда! ❤️

With deep sorrow, we share that on July 7th, the legendary manul-king Bol has passed away 💔
He was 11 years old.
It’s hard to find the words to express what a tremendous loss this is for manulovers all over the world 🙏
Boru was one of the most recognizable Pallas’s cats in the world — a legend, an icon, and a true fluffy pillar of global manulization.
Farewell, dear fluffy Samurai!
We will miss your iconic grumpy emerald gaze from under heavy brows more than words can say.
And please, send our love to your beloved Polly 🙏
You will forever live on in our hearts, manul-legend! ❤️
