How does LEND generate revenue, and why is this important for $LEND tokens? 💸
LEND’s protocol generates revenue through lending and borrowing.
Example:
User A supplies tokens to ETH lending markets, earning 5% APR + $LEND tokens.
User B borrows ETH paying 9% APR and receive $LEND rewards.
💡9 - 5 = 4%!
That 4% is protocol revenue!🥳
🤔Now imagine 4% equals $10,000.
1️⃣50% ($5000) will be paid to $LEND stakers/lockers
2️⃣50% ($5000) goes to LEND treasury for development & incentives.
Obviously all hypothetical numbers for illustrative purposes (for now).... But this will help you understand the true value of $LEND tokens, and why you want to rack up as many #LENDPoints as possible for our airdrop 😉
