اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عُفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Oh Allah you are the One who pardons. You love to pardon. So pardon me.

Pardon here means to completely wipe out a sin as if you never did it.

Nothing is impossible for Allah.

Allah.

There is no god but You.

If not You, then who is there that I can turn to?

If not You, then with whom shall I seek refuge?

If you turn me away, where am I to go?

It you do not envelop me in your mercy, then from whom am I to seek solace?

To you I belong, and to you I will return.

I have become distant, so bring me close.

I have become heedless, so guide me to that which is right.

Make righteousness beloved to me and make your disobedience unbearable to me.

Keep me on the straight path, for without your continued guidance, I will lose my way.

How can I truly thank You when it is You who has given me the ability to thank you?

Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and the Hereafter.

Cause me to die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.
