At the end vs in the end
Всё просто:
*️⃣ at the end (of something) — в конце чего-то:

*️⃣ In the end — finally, after something has been thought about or discussed a lot (в итоге, в результате, в конце) :

*️⃣ Еще есть выражение at the end of the day — something that you say before you give the most important fact of a situation (в конце концов, в итоге) :

At the end of the day, you have to make your own choice and take a look at the matter objectively.
The fact is, at the end of the day these regulations save Americans money.
Значения in the end и at the end of the day во похожи: в итоге, в конце концов. А если вы хотите сказать “в конце чего-то” в буквальном смысле, выбирайте предлог at.

🌲 How we get tree planting wrong 🌲
Honestly, I have always thought that planting trees is cool, but… It’s complicated. Watch the video (5 mins) to find out why!
Some vocab:
🌳carbon dioxide /ˌkɑː.bən daɪˈɒk.saɪd/ — the gas formed when carbon is burned, or when people or animals breathe out(углекислый газ) :
Trees store masses of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
🌳a sapling — a young tree(саженец, молодое деревце) :
Planting in the wrong type of soil, near too many grazing animals, or in the wrong climate, are all factors that will kill off new saplings very quickly.
🌳to deplete — to reduce something in size or amount, especially supplies of energy, money, etc.(истощать, исчерпывать)
🌳peatland — an area of land consisting mainly of peat (= a dark brown substance like soil that was formed by plants dying and becoming buried)(торфяник) :
The wrong location can also deplete groundwater, dry up streams and kill off peatland.
🌳to be susceptible to something — easily influenced or harmed by something(быть подверженным чему-либо) :
Consisting of only one species, monocultures store less carbon, are terrible for biodiversity, and are also highly susceptible to disease.
🌳a canopy — the branches and leaves that spread out at the top of a group of trees forming a type of roof(крона дерева) :

📌 НЕДЕЛЬНЫЙ ДАЙДЖЕСТ
Я, наконец, получила пятерку за Тотальный диктант. Не могу не похвастаться, ведь до этого писала его раз восемь или девять и каждый раз допускала какую-нибудь глупую ошибку и получала 4 😈
Но в этот раз диктант был проще обычного, так что всё получилось, хотя я всё равно умудрилась поставить ненужные кавычки. Как говорится, редактор — это не тот, кто знает, как правильно, а тот, кто знает, где проверить)

Wanna some black magic? Watching this short NatGeo video (5 mins long), I was surprised that there is a huge black magic market located in Mexico. Take a look!
Some vocabulary:
🟢 to forbid (forbade, forbidden) - to refuse to allow something, especially officially (запрещать) :

🟢 allure - the quality of being attractive, interesting, or exciting (очарование, привлекательность)
