Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Junior Accountant role located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, assisting in financial statement preparation, verifying the accuracy of invoices, and assisting with other accounting duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail and will be responsible for the following tasks
• Proper documentation
• Timely Tax declaration – Income tax, Pension, withholding
• Payroll calculation
• Reconciling bank statements
• Following customer’s payment status
• issuing and collecting a receipt
• Managing all accounting transactions

Qualifications
Experience- Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience,
