I hate Damon

OK NO SPOILERS BC IM NOT EVEN DONE WIRH THE FIRST SEASON I just feel like I need to rant that I hate Damon so much and don’t understand why there’s so many tik tok edits of him and from what I’ve seen he’s the favorite character he is insane and selfish asf I can’t stand him and genuinely don’t think there’s anything he can do to recover from this in my eyes he’s horrible

In season 2 when Caroline gets taken by the wolves

I think it's really dumb that they tried to paint Tyler as the bad guy, for not helping the 2 people who killed his uncle, who were killing his own kind as well, and he helped Caroline out of the cage, which he had no way of knowing that she was going to get hurt, any way I think Tyler was completely justified, and he shouldve been more mad than he was.

Season 7 and 8 Donovan fill me with such hatred. Like boy, move tf on! Go be a big bad sheriff in some other town, or better yet, big city.

On the flip side Kai Parker is still my favorite villian, even after so many rewatches.

What was even the point of Stefan murdering Andie, when he just calls Elena crying 10 min later? Completely negating the whole reason he did that.

I understand WHY objectively. To make Damon and Elena think he was too far gone and to stop looking for him. But then almost immediately calls Elena all sad boy tears showing that clearly that wasn’t the case. His big murder display influenced Damon for about… 8 hours total. Didn’t work on Elena at all.

Side note, Damon was the only one who seemed to care she was dead. And he was more pissed off. Hilariously smashes up Stefan’s room. Stefan didn’t even seem to give a shit, and they never mention her again. Elena doesn’t care either!!! wtf! THE NEXT DAY both Alaric and Elena act like they don’t care that Stefan did that at all. And yes we are aware Damon kills people without remorse too. But Mr Heightened Empathy Stefan and Miss Compassionate Elena not caring is weird.

I don’t get why Stefan didn’t just get Damon alone and tell him straight up that Klaus will KILL HIM if he keeps poking around. Or just fucking text him!!! Text him what they are doing and going and then Klaus wouldn’t be alerted to the stalking. He has his phone, Klaus isn’t creeping on his messages and calls.

Their whole goal seems pointless anyway because how exactly are they going to get Stefan away from Klaus? That’s never even discussed. He can’t exactly walk away.
