Due to an overwhelming amount of community requests after the heavily oversubscribed Aether Games Public and Private sale, we decided to quickly implement the Guaranteed Allocation Round + FCFS Round by pushing it forward several weeks from our inital roadmap plan to make it available to our community.

Yesterday & today, the GAM3S.GG Private Sale and the Truflation IDO were the first tests of that model. During the GAM3S.GG Private Sale, the Guaranteed Allocation Round went very smoothly for the first hour, with almost ~80% of the round filled. However, when it came 4 PM and the time to open the FCFS Round, the “Join sale” button on our frontend experienced an intermittent error due to the new countdown system we implemented.

During the Truflation IDO, the Guaranteed Allocation Round also went very smoothly. However, when it came to 4 PM and the time to open the FCFS Round, the amount of requests exceeded 29,000 per minute due to several thousand users refreshing the page every couple of seconds and the Project Page crashed for a minute. As is the case with FCFS, there was more demand than remaining allocation, so sadly most users were not able to participate as the FCFS sales became sold out. We apologise for the technical difficulties.

We take your feedback seriously and we are working as hard as possible to fix all of these issues for the upcoming sales. We ask your comprehension and that you provide us with as much healthy feedback as possible so we improve our system further. We thought the community would prefer to have a chance of participation, even if they were not successful during the lottery. Giving everyone a chance to participate is what we are striving for, without reducing allocations to tiny numbers.
