UPDATE :-
If you read this, you could be thinking "nah homie it's fine for me" but guess what?
N O
Custom ROMs use a custom device fingerprint (say Pixel or OnePlus) to pass Safetynet, so, maybe that saved you.

(and this is a big fat maybe)
One of the channel moderator had to stay on the MIUI 12 fastboot image to confirm this with concrete evidence.
Apparently, Poco didn't update the Widewine L1 certificate for the Poco F1.
We did update the certificate, tried both the stable and beta channels of Amazon Prime app, but it didn't work :(
Now, after some digging on the internet, this seems to be an issue on various Mi devices on MiUi 12 that hasn't seen the limelight yet, so, it could be a blunder on the OEM side which can be fixed on a future update.
For now, Widewine L1 is on the verge of a downfall, so, if you rely on OTT apps, don't fret! It isn't your ROM's fault.
This series shall be frequently updated to feast your eyes 🙂
// OTT -- Status //
> Prime Video - 540p
> Netflix - 540p (like it ever worked lol)
> Hotstar - 1080p
We didn't bother the rest of the OTTs since we couldn't afford their subscriptions :/
(Pirate lords feeling dank rn, eh?)
