Save, O Lord, Thy people and bless Thine inheritance; grant victory to our kings against the barbarians and do protect, by Thy Holy Cross, Thy Commonwealth.

Now the flaming sword no longer guards the gates of Paradise; it hath been mysteriously quenched by the wood of the Cross! The sting of death and the victory of Hades have been vanquished; for Thou, O my Savior, didst come and cry to those in Hades: "Enter again into Paradise."

That Christianity rightly recognises God's Creation in all of its Diversity, without Discrimination, is the most excellent sign of Visibility. As the Gentiles were received, even though they were so strongly discriminated before, so ought all human beings, by God Created and in Christ's Incarnation Redeemed and Saved, as befits the Icon and Likeness of God, in the Guidance of The Holy Ghost, be also received. For those who suffer most, even the most marginalised and hated of society and its hypocrites, the outcast and mocked, verily, did Christ surround Himself with most eminently, as a perfect sign of Love in Redemption. Those who were born by God's Will, through no fault of their own, with a medically-recognised variation, one being understood better with each passing day, ought to receive all of our Love, Compassion and Christian Kindness, receiving the Inclusion that befits all Children of God living according to the Holy Precepts of Christ, The Saviour.

"Sing to The Lord a new song; sing to The Lord, all the earth! Sing to The Lord, bless His Name: proclaim His Salvation from day to day. Publish His Glory among the Gentiles, His Wonderful Works among all people.
For The Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: He is fearful above all gods. For all the gods of the heathen are devils: but The Lord made the heavens. Thanksgiving and beauty are before Him: holiness and majesty are in His Sanctuary.
Bring to The Lord, ye families of the Gentiles, bring to The Lord glory and honour. Bring to The Lord the glory becoming His Name: bring sacrifices, and go into His Courts. Worship The Lord in His Holy Court: let all the earth tremble before Him. Say among the heathen, The Lord reigns: for He hath established the world so that it shall not be moved: He shall judge the people in righteousness. Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth exult; let the sea be moved, and the fulness of it. The plains shall rejoice, and all things in them: then shall all the trees of the wood exult before the presence of The Lord: for He cometh, for He cometh to judge the earth; He shall judge the world in righteousness, and the people with His Truth."

Every deed of Christ is a cause of glorying to the Catholic Church, but her greatest of all glorying is in the Cross; and knowing this, Paul says, "But God forbid that I should glory, save in the Cross of Christ" (Galatians 6:14). For wondrous indeed it was, that one who was blind from his birth should receive sight in Siloam; but what is this compared with the blind of the whole world? A great thing it was, and passing nature, for Lazarus to rise again on the fourth day; but the grace extended to him alone, and what was it compared with the dead in sins throughout the world? Marvellous it was, that five loaves should pour forth food for the five thousand; but what is that to those who are famishing in ignorance through all the world? It was marvellous that she should have been loosed who had been bound by Satan eighteen years: yet what is this to all of us, who were fast bound in the chains of our sins? But the glory of the Cross led those who were blind through ignorance into light, loosed all who were held fast by sin, and ransomed the whole world of mankind.

And wonder not that the whole world was ransomed; for it was no mere man, but the only-begotten Son of God, Who died on its behalf. Moreover one man's sin, even Adam's, had power to bring death to the world; but "if by the trespass of the one, death reigned" over the world, how shall not life much rather reign "by the righteousness of the One" (Romans 5:17-18)? And if because of the tree of food they were then cast out of paradise, shall not believers now more easily enter into paradise because of the Tree of Jesus? If the first man formed out of the earth brought in universal death, shall not He who formed him out of the earth bring in eternal life, being Himself the Life? If Phinees, when he waxed zealous and slew the evil-doer, staved the wrath of God, shall not Jesus, who slew not another, but "gave up Himself for a ransom" (1 Timothy 2:6), put away the wrath which is against mankind?

Let us then not be ashamed of the Cross of our Saviour but rather glory in it. "For the word of the Cross is unto Jews a stumbling-block, and unto Gentiles foolishness, but to us salvation: and to them that are perishing it is foolishness, but unto us which are being saved it is the power of God" (1 Corinthians 1:23-24). For it was not a mere man who died for us, as I said before, but the Son of God, God made man.

The common Resurrection, before Thy Passion, Thou didst raise Lazarus from the dead to confirm in Faith, O Christ our God. Therefore, as did the youths, we carry the symbols of victory and to Thee, the Victor over death, we cry out: "Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is He Who cometh in the Name of The Lord."

Christ, the Joy of all, the Truth, the Light, Life, the Resurrection of the world, hath appeared to those on Earth by His Goodness. He is the Archetype of the Resurrection, granting unto all Divine Forgiveness.
