ISRO’s 101st Satellite EOS-09 Launch Mission Fails Due to Technical Glitch

New Delhi, May 18, 2025: India’s space agency isro launched its 101st satellite, EOS-09, today morning from Sriharikota aboard the PSLV-C61 rocket, but the mission failed just six minutes after liftoff due to a technical malfunction.

The EOS-09 satellite was designed for Earth observation and strategic applications. Equipped with a C-band radar, the satellite was expected to play a crucial role in border security, disaster management, and continuous monitoring.
