Pauline Hanson's One Nation
One Nation is a pretty small right-wing party (polling at around 4%), they're probably most famous because of some of the stunts they've pulled like Senator Pauline Hanson wearing a burqa into Parliament or presenting a motion that simply said "It's ok to be white" (which the senate rejected btw). One Nation was formed in the 1990s by Pauline Hanson and achieved basically overnight success winning 8% in the 1998 federal election and 22% in the Queensland state election, however there success was short lived and by the early 2000s they were basically destroyed because of internal infighting.

However, by 2016 Pauline Hanson had regained leadership in the party which up until that point was basically dead, and lead it into the 2016 federal election winning 4% and 4 seats, in 2019 they received 5% but only 2 seats. One Nation is a mediocre right-wing party, they're boomer holdovers from the 1990s who have completely failed to adapt to the modern political situation, there's a reason why we don't have a right-wing party currently polling at 25% threating the establishment like in many European countries, and that reason is Pauline Hanson. One Nation might win seats here and there but they'll likely fail to achieve any greater success until they get better optics, actually learn how to organize protests and throw out Pauline for someone younger, more tech-savvy and far, far more charismatic.
In short, One Nation is like the Liberal party of 1990 and comparing 1998 and 2020 One Nation you can see a very obvious shift to the left in One Nation, even if it is minor compared to the Liberals or Labor.

tl;dr, Australia has no real right-wing opposition and the country is dominated by liberals and progressives.

🇦🇺Coronavirus panic-buying resulting in shortages of toilet paper in Australia

"Such shortages are not currently imminent threats. Still, that hasn't stopped people hoarding, with things getting particularly weird Down Under. To the confusion of all, Australians have focused on one particular product: the humble toilet roll."

Funnily enough when I went to the shops 3 hours ago there was no toilet paper or milk. There was a a heap of bread, fruit and meat, but apparently most people seem to think toilet paper and milk are more important (Coronavirus isn't even in my town yet)
